Ash Wednesday is here..... Gabriella and I attended a very nice Mass this morning, and she received her first ashes...... the priest was very patient in waiting for our little Doodlebug to turn her head just right and hold still for him to place the ashes on her forehead....so cute. Although as you can tell from the picture, she's already managed to rub off most of them on Mama's shirt since she's quite squirmy these days.... She was also the hit of our "pew section" in the church, as all the little old women around us oooed and ahhhed at her the whole time. It was so nice to involve her in this day at the church.
